Woto FAQ

How can I add a social image to my page?

Adding a social image to your page is important for your page's visibility when you share it on social networks.

To set an image, move your mouse over your page card and click on "Page Settings." Alternatively, if you're in the page editor, move your mouse over the gear icon found on the right side of the page, and click on "Page Settings".

When the page settings window opens, click on the Social Media Image (marked with the red arrow below).

Your image library window will open. If you don't have any images, you can add some to your library in 3 ways:

  • Simply drag&drop image files from your computer desktop to the image library window
  • Click on "From your computer" and select the files to upload
  • Click on "From another website" and type or paste the URL of the image file you want to download

Once all your images are added to your library, you can select the image you want to set as page's social image by clicking on it and then click on "set as social share image" button as shown below.

If the selected image's aspect ratio is 16:9, then it will be set as social media image.
Don't forget to set the Page Title and Page Description fields too and then click on "Save Settings".

If the image's aspect ratio is NOT 16:9, then you will need to select the area you wish to use for social image. You can move the mask and resize as you wish. When finished click on "Crop Image and Save" to set it as social media image.

The cropped image will be added to your image library with another name. The original image will not be affected.
